DAY 14

Hi all,
Today we decided to get an early start and head to Yellowstone.

Early morning light hitting the mountains.

Getting out here early pays off big. Is that a moose ?

Sure is !

He's a beauty !

Pic of the day. It's not everyday you are able to find a moose to pose for you.

Early light across the plain.

Clouds hanging low in the valley.

Ox Bow Bend.

Swans on the river.

Beautiful day for a swim.

Everything is ducky.

Pretty view !

Lewis Falls.

We didn't get any memo about the Government opening up the park.

We would like to know where all the elk are. We have not seen one elk in either park this year.

We have traveled the full length of the park looking for elk, and just before we go outside
the North entrance we spot some pronghorns.

After we eat lunch in Gardner Montana just outside the
park we spot this guy on the side of the hill.

By the look of that rack, we think these are the elk that got kicked out of the park.

This is the best rack we could find. We think that the elk in the park all went on strike.

We head back into the park for the long drive home.

We stop at Lewis Lake and have a contest to see who can get out further without falling in.

Ok, Prilly wins. I'm not going out there that water is about 28 degrees.

Tomorrow we head to Salt Lake to fly back on Wednesday.

See you on Day 15 - Ralph, Prilly & Sue
